PrepWings1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using PrepWings (the "App") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. The App is run by Ashish Poswal, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India ("we", "us").
2. What PrepWings is — and is not
PrepWings is a tool for tracking and revising your preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. It is not a coaching institute and does not promise any result in any exam. PrepWings is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to UPSC, NCERT or any other government body or exam authority; their names appear only to describe what a section is for.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, give accurate information and verify your email address.
- One person, one account. Keep your password private — you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the App.
4. Your content
Your notes, highlights, mistake logs, photos and other study data belong to you. You give us a limited licence to store, back up, process and display that content to you, and to build the PDFs you request, only so that the App works. You are responsible for what you upload: do not upload anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or photos showing other people's personal information.
5. Accuracy of study material
Syllabus outlines, exam patterns, answer keys, dates and other study material in the App are compiled from public sources. They may contain errors or be out of date. Always check official notifications and textbooks before relying on anything for the exam. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on the App's content.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law or use the App to harm or harass anyone;
- copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the App or its servers;
- upload malicious code, or create accounts by automated means;
- use the App to store or share content you have no right to.
7. Ownership and third-party material
The App, its design, code and our own written content belong to us. You may use it for your personal, non-commercial study. Third-party material — such as NCERT textbooks (downloaded from NCERT's own website), UPSC question papers and Wikimedia images — remains with its owners and is subject to their terms.
8. Third-party services
The App relies on services we do not control, including Google Firebase, Brevo, NCERT's website and websites that open from links. We are not responsible for how those services work.
9. Availability and changes
The App is provided "as is". We may change, pause or stop features at any time. Early versions may contain bugs. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely to improve the App. We may introduce paid features in future; if we do, the price will be shown clearly before you pay, and we will never charge you without a clear action from you.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using PrepWings and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or misuses the service. What happens to your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
11. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or the outcome of any exam. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian law that cannot be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the App if the change matters. Continuing to use the App afterwards means you accept the change.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, the courts at Meerut, India will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under Indian consumer law.
